2400 more kids have cancer in Turkey every year. Childhood cancer types of malignant tumors and leukemia can be completely cured in 60% of the cases provided that the right treatment is applied. These lengthy treatment procedures are also very expensive. Many families are unable to start their child's treatment in time or to maintain it, because they can not afford it. COKSEV is founded with the aim to provide contemporary treatment means to our kids in need who have cancer, to conduct educational and social activities to all children with cancer in order to support their mental health, to inform the public about childhood cancer types, to inform the public about the difficulties faced by children with cancer and their families, to achieve cooperation amongst children with cancer and their families and to conduct studies to prevent the disease.
